Nicole Kirgan is the Associate Director, Policy & Media. Previously, Nicole was the Director of Communication at the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE). At OSHE Nicole oversaw the development and execution of strategic communications, outreach, and marketing campaigns; she would write speeches, talking points and briefing memos for the Secretary of Higher Education and senior leadership team; drafts, reviews, edits and refines all external content, including emails, letters, guidance documents, state plans and reports, fact sheets, FAQ documents, etc. for general public, academic and student audiences; spearheads an extensive website redesign project to improve audience engagement, functionality and usability; coordinates OSHE’s internship and fellowship programs; manages OSHE’s and the Secretary’s social media accounts; and directs media and constituent relations, including coordinating interviews and drafting stakeholder responses.
